As Leis Orgânicas dos Estados-Membros não limitam a atuação do Corregedor-Geral perante a chefia do Parquet quando este exerce suas funções nos processos de exclusividade do cargo. Porém, há quem entenda descabida a correição, eis que o Procurador-Geral, pela relevância da posição, a isto não pode se submeter. À luz do texto da Lei Orgânica do Ministério Público do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (Lei Complementar nº 106, de 3 de janeiro de 2003) verifica-se que não há óbice qualquer para que o Corregedor-Geral correicione as atividades do Procurador-Geral de Justiça nos feitos de atribuição originária.

The Organic Laws of the Member States do not limit the role of the General Inspector before the head of the Public Prosecution Service when it exercises its functions in the processes of exclusivity of the position. However, some believe the correction is inappropriate, since the Attorney General, due to the relevance of the position, cannot submit to this. In the light of the text of the Organic Law of the Public Prosecution Service of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Complementary Law No. 106, of January 3, 2003),it appears that there is no obstacle for the General Counsel to correct the activities of the Attorney General in the acts of original attribution.
